«Republican educational and methodological center of additional education» of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan established in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan from April 28, 2004 № 481 "Rename the republican state enterprise" Republic scholars’ house «of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

The Committee of state property and Privatization of the Ministry of finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan  has a function of republican state ownership in relation to the Centre.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan controls Centre’s activities.

In its activities, the Centre is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 27, 2007 "On Education", dated 19 June 1995 "On the State Enterprise", other normative legal acts, as well as the regulations of the Centre.

The goal of the Center is: to ensure the development of additional education of children through the scientific and methodical, program-methodical, educational, educational, organizational and substantive, information and expert support.
